What was your background before enrolling on the course?
Hi, my name is Pierre-Alexandre Baril and I'm currently doing a Data Engineer course at Artefact School of Data. Before that, I did a Masters specialising in digital health at EPITA. I then did work placements in Data Analysis, as a Machine Learning engineer, and in Cyber Security. I wanted to deepen my skills in Data Engineering, which is a very technical field in data, so I chose to do this training at Artefact.What did you enjoy during your data engineering training?
What I was looking for in this training was not to repeat a two-year university course, but really to learn the tools used in business. That's exactly what I found at Artefact. I'm very pleased to have been able to work with all the current tools on the market, and I'm really very happy with this course.What are your career plans?
My career plan is to continue in the field of data engineering. This course has reinforced my belief that this is really what I prefer in data: being upstream of the preparation of data to make it usable, so that it can be made available to data analysts and data scientists.
