What motivated you to specialise in Data Engineering?
My background in Data Analysis, Machine Learning and Cyber Security has allowed me to explore different aspects of data, but I quickly realised that Data Engineering is a central part of the ecosystem. Without robust pipelines and optimised infrastructures, Machine Learning models or data analyses cannot be exploited effectively.
During my master's degree in digital health at EPITA, I became aware of the importance of data infrastructures in a sector undergoing rapid transformation. The sheer volume and complexity of healthcare data requires high-performance architectures, and it was this dimension that prompted me to develop my skills in Data Engineering. This specialisation now gives me a better understanding of the entire data processing chain and a more structured and efficient approach.
How did the training at Artefact meet your expectations in terms of practical learning?
What I was looking for above all was practical learning that could be applied directly in the workplace, and the training at Artefact totally fulfilled that expectation. Thanks to a project-based approach, each theoretical concept is immediately put into practice through real case studies, inspired by assignments carried out at Artefact.
One of the most striking aspects for me was the opportunity to work on tools and technologies used daily by professionals in the sector, such as Apache Spark, SQL and the AWS and GCP cloud platforms. This immersion has enabled me to acquire technical expertise that can be directly put to use and to gain a better understanding of the challenges of data engineering, particularly in sectors such as digital health, where data management is a critical issue.
What role has educational support played in your training?
The teaching support was a key element in my apprenticeship. The teaching team is made up of working professionals, which brings real added value: the instructors don't just pass on technical concepts, they also share their vision of the business and the best practices to adopt in the workplace.
The fact that I had regular exchanges with experts enabled me to ask specific questions and get feedback tailored to my needs. What's more, the fact that the participants helped each other reinforced the collaborative learning process: by working with people from different backgrounds, I was able to discover other approaches and methodologies, which helped me to progress more quickly and adopt a broader vision of Data Engineering.

Are our courses face-to-face and/or distance learning?
We recommend that you come to one of our face-to-face courses to be at the heart of the leader in Data and Artificial Intelligence. However, if you prefer or if you can't do otherwise, our courses can also be taken at a distance or as a hybrid! Everything is designed so that you can follow our courses from our classroom or from home, as you wish. We have made this choice to optimise your learning during the course.
What support is there to help you find a job?
Every day, our students have the opportunity to work alongside Artefact employeesone of the leaders in Data. This means that every day, they meet Data Scientists, Analysts, Engineers, Data Consultants and Data Marketing experts who make up their team. professional network and increase their chances of securing a future position with Artefact or with a partner.
In addition, we offer a Career Day to help you find a job. This includes workshops on job hunting, preparing CVs and LinkedIn profiles, as well as advice on technical interviews.
Who are the teachers?
Your tutors are Data Scientists, Analysts or Senior Engineers by trade. This is very important to us because they work at the very heart of one of the leaders specialising in Data and AI: Artefact. This means that the teachers are in daily contact with Artefact customers and are responding to real, current issues in the field. Our training courses are therefore designed around what they experience on a daily basis.
How do I apply for one of our courses?
The registration process is very simple: you apply directly for the course of your choice, explaining your motivations and describing your career path. You can also download the full programme and then make an appointment with us.
Are our training courses Qualiopi certified?
