What was your background before enrolling on the course?
Hello, my name is Mahmoud El Hariri. I did a master's degree in International Marketing & Business Development at SKEMA, where I acquired a solid grounding in business strategy and market analysis. After graduating, I worked for a year and a half as a business analyst in a pharmaceutical company, which enabled me to hone my understanding of data and its impact on decision-making.
As my career progressed, I realised that data analytics played a central role in my job and that it was essential to master the tools and methodologies to take my analyses further. So I decided to take a specialist course to hone my skills and explore new methods of analysis. I chose Artefact's School of Data for its pragmatic and professional approach, but also because it is part of Artefact, a recognised leader in the field of data and AI. For me, this course represents a unique opportunity to deepen my knowledge and prepare myself for new professional challenges.
What did you enjoy during your data analytics training?
There are a lot of things I really appreciated about this course. First of all, the working environment is a real asset. The premises are spacious and modern, which makes learning more enjoyable and immersive. The tutors are patient, pedagogical and highly professional, always available to answer questions and support each student at his or her own pace.
In technical terms, we have acquired essential skills that are directly applicable in the professional world, particularly with tools such as Python, Power BI and SQL. The courses are structured in such a way as to enable us to make rapid progress through practical exercises and real-life situations, so that we can assimilate the concepts effectively.
Another thing I particularly appreciated was the fact that I was working in a stimulating professional environment. Being directly integrated into Artefact, the School of Data offers unique proximity to experts in the field. Not only does this enable us to keep abreast of market expectations, it also allows us to expand our network and exchange ideas with data professionals. Numerous experts come in throughout the course to share their experience and advice, making our learning even richer.
