What was your background before enrolling on the course?
My name is Lissandre Martinuzzi, I've recently completed my bachelor's degree and I'm currently enjoying my gap year before pursuing a master's degree in artificial intelligence and business IT. My initial background was in business, so I wanted to deepen my technical skills in data science in order to develop a dual expertise.
The aim of this course was for me to master the tools and methods used in data science, but also to adopt a more technical approach to better understand the technological aspects of AI and data analysis. Working in an environment where data is ubiquitous seemed to me essential to strengthen my profile and gain in versatility. By wearing both a business hat and an engineer's hat, I'm giving myself the means to better understand the technical and strategic issues linked to the digital transformation of companies.
What did you enjoy during your data scientist training?
What I particularly liked about this course was its professional approach. Learning is structured in such a way as to immerse us in real-life situations, enabling us to develop skills that are directly applicable in the workplace.
Another strong point is the presence of consultants and experts from the sector, who come to share their experience, give concrete advice and help us to better understand the expectations of the market. This gives us a clearer view of the opportunities and outlets offered by data science.
Finally, the atmosphere within the bootcamp was a real asset. There was a very good group dynamic, encouraging exchanges and collaborative learning, even with people from different backgrounds and of different ages. This diversity enriched the discussions and enabled a rapid and stimulating rise in skills.
To sum up, this course has given me a solid grounding in data science, a better understanding of the tools and methods used in the sector, as well as a practical and professional approach that will be an asset for the rest of my career.
