What motivated you to turn to data science after a degree in physics and chemistry?
My course in physics and chemistry was very focused on scientific and mathematical concepts, but lacked practical applications of technological tools and data. I quickly realised that the analysis and exploitation of data played a key role in innovation and scientific research, and I wanted to explore this dimension further. To fill this gap and prepare for my future master's degree in robotics and artificial intelligence, I wanted to develop technical skills in data science, a field that would enable me to link my scientific knowledge to concrete, high-impact applications.
How would you describe the atmosphere in the class and the teaching approach?
From the outset, the atmosphere in the class was very pleasant and dynamic, with motivated and committed participants from a wide range of backgrounds. This diversity encouraged enriching exchanges and natural mutual support throughout the programme. The training format, based on working in pairs on daily challenges, reinforced collaborative learning and enabled everyone to make rapid progress. The role-playing exercises and practical projects immersed us in conditions close to the professional world, making the experience even more immersive and engaging.
What were the strengths of the teaching and environment at the School of Data?
Our teachers were there every day, always available to guide us and answer our questions, which made a real difference to our learning. Total immersion in the Artefact environment gave us the opportunity to talk to data analysts and data scientists, get advice on jobs and recruitment opportunities, and get a real insight into the requirements of the sector.
What career opportunities have you been able to explore thanks to the events organised by Artefact?
We had privileged access to exclusive events organised by Artefact, where we were able to meet companies, attend presentations on major data projects and talk to experts in the field. These meetings were extremely enriching and enabled me to expand my network while discovering the real challenges of data science in the professional world.

Are the courses face-to-face or distance learning?
We recommend taking the course face-to-face, in order to take full advantage of the learning environment within a leading player in Data and Artificial Intelligence, and to benefit from direct exchanges with the trainers and other participants.
However, for greater flexibility, our courses can also be taken at a distance or in a hybrid format. Every effort is made to ensure that you can participate in the best possible conditions, either from our classroom or from home, depending on your preference.
