What was your background before enrolling on the course?
I have a scientific background, which I supplemented with training at a business school specialising in retail. And I realised at the end of my retail training that I had a real passion for data.
How did you hear about the School of Data?
At the end of my studies, I wanted to supplement my scientific background with technical training in data. I had never coded before in my life and, in order to get a job in data, it was essential that I learn the range of essential tools such as programming languages (SQL, Python, etc.). It was following an email from Pôle emploi that I decided to apply to the School of Data.
What did you enjoy during your data analytics training?
What I really appreciated was the richness of the teaching, the completeness of the course and the fact that it was at the cutting edge of technology. You get the feeling that the instructors are genuinely keen to bring us up to date with the best in the field of data. Another very important aspect of the course is the opportunity to meet the data experts working at Artefact and its network of partners around the world.
Did you find a job during your data analytics training?
After the course, I found a job directly with Artefact as a Junior Data Consultant. As for the assignments, they are very varied. I worked as a product owner on visual recognition solutions. Today I'm in a job called Data Asset Owner for Sodexo. I cultivate data assets and make sure that the people who need the data at any given time have it in the format that's easiest for them to read. Then I make sure that this data asset can be shared throughout the company.

Are the courses face-to-face or distance learning?
We recommend taking the course face-to-face, in order to take full advantage of the learning environment within a leading player in Data and Artificial Intelligence, and to benefit from direct exchanges with the trainers and other participants.
However, for greater flexibility, our courses can also be taken at a distance or in a hybrid format. Every effort is made to ensure that you can participate in the best possible conditions, either from our classroom or from home, depending on your preference. This flexible format has been designed to optimise your learning throughout the course.
