What was your background before enrolling on the course?
As a general engineer with an eclectic range of skills, I like to try my hand at everything and discover new things. You could say that I'm looking for my professional 'Ikigai', my 'raison d'être' in terms of my professional career. I graduated from ESTIA engineering school after my preparatory classes, and worked for 6 years in the field of banking compliance as a technical-functional consultant. I then decided to change direction to find a job that better matched my personality and values.
What led you to take this course?
The data sector is booming, with a wide range of jobs and positions in demand. I'm lucky enough to have a profile that enables me to understand this field, so I decided to capitalise on it and follow a structured training course that would enable me to acquire new skills in terms of tools, processes and know-how.
Why did you choose the School of Data?
It's a great way to get into the data business: my initial training as a Data Analayst means I'm up and running and can then move on to a new assignment. If I want to specialise after a few years' experience, I can always take a new course as a Data Scientist or Data Engineer, depending on what I discover later on.
What are your career plans?
I'm looking to join a team as an Analytics Engineer. My added value to data is managing the flow of data right through to visualisation, which requires both technical and business skills: perfect for someone who wants to touch everything and have a global vision!
One word to describe the School of Data?
Intense but complete! You get to touch on everything, while taking the time to delve deeper into what you've seen! You know where you're going, and by the end, all the pieces fit together and you're ready to embark on a future mission to apply everything you've learned!

Are our courses face-to-face and/or distance learning?
We recommend that you come to one of our face-to-face courses to be at the heart of the leader in Data and Artificial Intelligence. However, if you prefer or if you can't do otherwise, our courses can also be taken at a distance or as a hybrid! Everything is designed so that you can follow our courses from our classroom or from home, as you wish. We have made this choice to optimise your learning during the course.
What support is there to help you find a job?
Every day, our students have the opportunity to work alongside Artefact employeesone of the leaders in Data. This means that every day, they meet Data Scientists, Analysts, Engineers, Data Consultants and Data Marketing experts who make up their team. professional network and increase their chances of securing a future position with Artefact or with a partner.
In addition, we offer a Career Day to help you find a job. This includes workshops on job hunting, preparing CVs and LinkedIn profiles, as well as advice on technical interviews.
Who are the teachers?
Your tutors are Data Scientists, Analysts or Senior Engineers by trade. This is very important to us because they work at the very heart of one of the leaders specialising in Data and AI: Artefact. This means that the teachers are in daily contact with Artefact customers and are responding to real, current issues in the field. Our training courses are therefore designed around what they experience on a daily basis.
How do I apply for one of our courses?
The registration process is very simple: you apply directly for the course of your choice, explaining your motivations and describing your career path. You can also download the full programme and then make an appointment with us.
