What is a Data Analyst?

A data analyst collects, processes and interprets complex data to help organisations make informed decisions. They use statistical and IT tools to uncover trends, patterns and insights that are hidden in the raw data. In an increasingly data-driven world, the role of the data analyst is crucial in transforming data into actionable information.

What is a Data Scientist?

The data scientist is responsible for extracting potential and drawing conclusions from a company's databases. In particular, they must implement algorithms to respond to a business problem, which may be: data classification, recommendation, creation of groups, anomaly detection, image, text and audio recognition, automated processes, segmentation, optimisation and forecasting.

In what language is the training provided?

All our courses are in French, but you must be fluent in English to follow the course.

What are the prerequisites for enrolment?

We do not require you to have any particular academic level. However, you should be comfortable using your computer (simple use in any environment, mathematics at terminal level, easily accessible by revising certain concepts such as equations, functions and derivatives). What's more, if you're comfortable with languages like Ruby, JavaScript or C++, that's a real plus!

I'm under 18, can I apply?

You have to be over 18 to take the course. The only exception: if you are 17 at the time of registration and 18 on the first day of the course, you can take our course.

What are the tasks of a Data Analyst?

The tasks of the data analyst include collecting data from different sources, cleaning it and preparing it for analysis. They are also responsible for the statistical analysis of the data, identifying trends and patterns, and presenting the results in a clear and understandable way. In addition, a data analyst often works closely with management teams to understand their data needs and to help guide strategic decision-making.

What does a Data Analyst earn after training?

At the start of their career, a Data Analyst can expect an average salary of €42,000 per year, with variations between €35,000 and €50,000 depending on the company and the sector. With three years' experience, an experienced data analyst can generally expect a higher salary, ranging from €60,000 to €70,000 a year.

What skills will I acquire after the Data Analytics course?

The course leads to validation of the level 7 skills block "Developing an artificial intelligence solution". Successful completion of this block of skills will enable you to validate part of the RNCP36129 "Artificial Intelligence Project Manager" certification awarded by the Collège de Paris.

This certification is made up of 4 blocks of skills:

  • Block 1: Developing an artificial intelligence solution using Design Thinking
  • Block 2: Managing an artificial intelligence project
  • Block 3: Developing an artificial intelligence solution (Machine and Deep Learning)
  • Block 4: Deploying an artificial intelligence solution.

Obtaining the full RNCP36129 certification is therefore based on capitalising on the 4 blocks of skills that make it up.

Each block can be acquired individually. An acquired block is definitive. A certificate of achievement is issued for validation, a strong signal on the job market.
