What was your background before enrolling on the course?
Hi, I'm Sami. I've always had a passion for maths. I did a Bac S, then went on to do a preparatory class in mathematics and a MP étoile. What I missed in my studies was learning and applying data concepts and tools. So, to make up for this shortcoming, I decided to do a training course in data so that I could approach the job I wanted to do in the best possible conditions.
What did you enjoy during your data engineering training?
I already knew about Artefact and I was very interested and passionate about their use cases, so I knew it would be a match for me. I knew that this course would be a perfect match for me because it covers all the data subjects I would need to become a data engineer. What I really liked about the training at the School of Data Artefact is that it embodies all the company's values, i.e. caring, sharing and helping each other. We have peer learning classes at the end of each day, which allow us to discuss our strengths and weaknesses together, and to better assimilate skills. After all, the best way to learn is to help others. Thanks to mentoring, you're immediately immersed in the world of work and you stop doing theory and really get into practice.
Did you find a job during your Data Engineer training course?
I was lucky enough to get the information through the POEI scheme, meaning that I was promised a job in return for taking the training. I'm now a Software Engineer at Artefact. I work on a number of customer projects, in particular on artificial intelligence issues. In conclusion, if you love data and want to work in data, I have just one piece of advice to give you: don't hesitate, go for it and sign up for the School of Data.

Are the courses face-to-face or distance learning?
We recommend taking the course face-to-face, in order to take full advantage of the learning environment within a leading player in Data and Artificial Intelligence, and to benefit from direct exchanges with the trainers and other participants.
However, for greater flexibility, our courses can also be taken at a distance or in a hybrid format. Every effort is made to ensure that you can participate in the best possible conditions, either from our classroom or from home, depending on your preference.
