What was your background before joining the Data Product Management course?
My name is Nathalie and I've joined the Data Product Management course at Artefact School of Data.
My background is rather atypical, as I started out in business. I did marketing, I did sales, I did sales administration, I was in charge of everything to do with business. Then, while I was handling data, I moved on from business to IT. In IT, I also handled data by manipulating databases and going into the cloud.
Why did you choose the School of Data?
I chose the School of Data because, in my opinion, it's the place par excellence where I can get the best return on my business. The professors, who are data and artificial intelligence professionals, can pass on best practices and help us to manage our time, manage deadlines and do the sprints we need to do to be as efficient as possible. So for me, it was the essential choice.
What skills did you develop or discover during the course?
So, in terms of skills, I went into product management in depth, because I'd done some marketing, so I'd understood what product was. After that, I'd already worked in Agile. I'd used Trello, Kanban and most of the tools. And that's something I've learned a lot about. I'm very happy, and well done to the teachers, and also to the technical teachers, because frankly, they got our hands dirty.
The School of Data in a nutshell?
It was magnificent. You arrive at a place, and I've told you: you're someone, you like data, you like AI, you like images, you like computer vision, you like all that. You arrive there in the morning, they give you a concept that you've seen before, you don't understand how it works, you're thirsty to understand. We show you the concept. And in the afternoon, you can practise that concept. And that's every day!

Are our courses face-to-face and/or distance learning?
We recommend that you come to one of our face-to-face courses to be at the heart of the leader in Data and Artificial Intelligence. However, if you prefer or if you can't do otherwise, our courses can also be taken at a distance or as a hybrid! Everything is designed so that you can follow our courses from our classroom or from home, as you wish. We have made this choice to optimise your learning during the course.
What support is there to help you find a job?
Every day, our students have the opportunity to work alongside Artefact employeesone of the leaders in Data. This means that every day, they meet Data Scientists, Analysts, Engineers, Data Consultants and Data Marketing experts who make up their team. professional network and increase their chances of securing a future position with Artefact or with a partner.
In addition, we offer a Career Day to help you find a job. This includes workshops on job hunting, preparing CVs and LinkedIn profiles, as well as advice on technical interviews.
Who are the teachers?
Your tutors are Data Scientists, Analysts or Senior Engineers by trade. This is very important to us because they work at the very heart of one of the leaders specialising in Data and AI: Artefact. This means that the teachers are in daily contact with Artefact customers and are responding to real, current issues in the field. Our training courses are therefore designed around what they experience on a daily basis.
