Can you tell us about your background before joining the bootcamp?
I started my career in sales, which enabled me to develop a solid understanding of customer needs and the market. Over time, I came to manipulate data to refine my analyses and make better decisions. This experience led to a position as Business Analyst in an e-commerce company, where I developed my data analysis skills and worked on issues such as performance monitoring and sales optimisation. It was at this point that I felt the need to acquire a more solid grounding in order to go further technically.
Why did you choose the School of Data for your training?
The School of Data attracted me because of its approach, which combines theory and practice, with concrete case studies. I was looking for an immersive course that would enable me to develop my skills while directly applying the concepts I was learning. The learning environment and the expertise of the lecturers also convinced me that this was the right course to structure my knowledge and develop professionally.
What aspects of the data analytics training did you particularly appreciate?
I particularly appreciated the quality of the speakers and their teaching methods. Their expertise and approach made the learning process fluid and accessible, which enabled me to assimilate the concepts quickly. The alternation between theory and practice, with real-life situations, also really helped me to progress and to feel more at ease with the data tools and methodologies.
How has this training contributed to your professional development?
Already involved in data, this course has enabled me to structure my analytical approach and strengthen my technical skills. I've acquired more rigorous methods and a better command of the tools, which means I can be more effective and relevant in my analyses.
It also gave me a clearer vision of the challenges of data and its impact on strategic decisions, which is a real plus in my job.
One word to describe the School of Data?
